Ok. I get what you're saying. Smartgun is not reliable enough to escort another player.
It's tricky to buff it though without making it a viable choice for solo-ing. Most typical buffs are likely to lead it in the wrong direction.

Turning Smartgun into OP Hunting Rifle is not the way to go.

I did a minor buff to Smartgun in latest update. AR has 90% hit chance, attack rate 2.50 , supply efficiency of 2.03 and is not able to deal with Reapers. MG has 85% hit chance, attack rate 2.00 , supply efficiency of 1.42 and kills Reapers with 4 shots. SG (in 0.83.3) has 100% hit chance, attack ra...

Currently sieges are being triggered by minimum required enemy population in region assigned to a siege facility. Enemies present in that area will become part of waves when siege starts. Additional enemies need to be spawning for a siege (including Zombies). Regular station population is not strong...

I know that Grapling Hook is very unreliable right now.
I'm planning to look into improving it. It's just very troublesome technically so I need to find a longer while to spend on it.

Oh. I wrote that help panel ages ago. It's probably very outdate by now. I don't pay much attention to it as it's by it's nature not a good way to teach beginners. As long as beginners are able to handle lots of Zombies I'd rather try adding more of them first. Killing weak enemies is simple and fun.
Besides, more enemies means more facilities breaking down, so it's not far from what you suggested.

Nest's enemy respawn is 3s on Nightmare, 2s on Hell. RL attack speed used to be 6s. It's 4s now. Theoreticly, if you time it perfectly, you should be able to hit every second wave on Hell now. It's probably gonna be harder than that, but hitting every 3rd is nice too. Either way, Demo is supposed to...

Rocket Launcher's advantage is that if you time it properly, it can be used to attack a Nest and kill enemies spawning from it.
Because of that, it's attack rate needs to be adjusted to Nest's enemy spawning frequency.

I increased attack speed. Let's see how it does now.

I'm out of button slots to allow to do that.
Besides, using extra orders in combat would make things harder.
I think that it's easier to deal with friendly fire through better balancing.
Gatling Gun should already be taken care of.
